Operatives of the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), Nigerian Army and DSS reportedly killed a notorious bandit leader, Kachalla Kabiru and several of his fighters (assuming at least 20) during a joint operation involving air and ground assets. Kabiru was alleged to have played a major role in logistics and manpower mobilisation for bandit groups. The location of the operation was not reported.
